TATE Liverpool are hosting a fashion, art and music experience on Friday 26 September, fusing Liverpool and New York culture for one evening only.
The event, happening between 18:30 and 22:30, brings forward two unique designers along with live music and free drinks.
Award-winning designer Bethany Williams, who designs clothes from old newspapers, is there to talk about her work and London Fashion Week while Sam Nowell, who’s featured on Wear? Magazine, brings a collection of his Liverpool-inspired items for the public to marvel.
The designer said: “I’ll be bringing my Liverpool themed pieces through as well as some other items to showcase.”
The ‘Late at Tate’ event revolves heavily around the city and its culture, whilst connecting the UK to the work of the talented Keith Haring and New York City culture.
There’s DJ mixing from Melodic Distraction and poetry performances happening throughout the evening. If you’re a student, entry is free too.
For the fashion scene in Liverpool, the arrival of two impressive designers is huge and this event is not one to miss. A few free drinks at the TATE, an educative evening and still time to have a Friday night out after, what’s not to like.
RSVP here, Albert Dock, Liverpool L3 4BB, UK.
Join the private Wear? Magazine group to talk about all things underground streetwear.
